Terms and conditions
Version of 30 oktober 2026
This is a translation of the Dutch terms and conditions. If the two differ, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
errors.nl and errors.be are services of errors.nl, located at Köllinglaan 9, 6952 HK Dieren, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce 65127013, VAT NL001566145B32 ("we"). These terms apply to every use of errors.nl by an organization ("you" or "the customer"), also if you only use the free plan.
errors.nl is meant for companies, organizations and freelancers who build software. By creating an organization, you declare that you act on behalf of that organization and are authorized to bind it to these terms. Purchasing conditions or other terms of the customer do not apply.
2. The service
errors.nl receives error reports that your apps send, among others through the Sentry SDKs, groups them into issues and shows them in a dashboard. We do our best to make the service work well and securely, but we do not guarantee that it is always available without interruption or errors. We may interrupt the service temporarily for maintenance; where possible, we announce this in advance.
We may improve the service and change features. If we remove a feature that is important for a paid subscription, we let you know at least 30 days in advance.
3. Your account
- You keep your login details and the keys in your DSNs secret. If you suspect a key has leaked, create a new one.
- You are responsible for what happens with your account and your projects, also by team members you give access.
- You do not use the service to disrupt it, to get around its security, or to send data that has nothing to do with error reports.
4. Credits and subscriptions
- Every error report we store costs one credit. Error reports we refuse cost nothing.
- Free plan: every organization without a paid subscription gets 1,000 credits every month. Unused credits expire at the end of the month.
- Paid subscription: you get the number of credits of your subscription every month. Unused credits expire when the next month starts. A subscription runs per month and renews automatically until you cancel it.
- Cancelling is possible at any time in the dashboard, under Credits. You can use the month you already paid for until its end; after that the free plan applies again. Paid months are not refunded.
- Extra credits never expire and are only used once your monthly credits run out. They are not refunded and cannot be exchanged for money.
- If you are out of credits, we store no new error reports until you have credits again. Error reports from that period are not kept.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the website and in the dashboard, and exclude VAT. You pay through Mollie. A subscription is charged automatically every month in advance. If a payment fails, the subscription stops at the end of the paid month and the free plan applies after that.
We may change prices. A new price for your subscription applies from the first payment after we have informed you at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price applies.
6. Your data
The error reports and other data you send to errors.nl remain yours. We only use them to provide the service to you. We keep error reports for 90 days; after that they are deleted automatically. If you delete your account, we delete your organization, projects and error reports.
How we handle the personal data of your account is described in our privacy statement.
7. Processing of personal data
Error reports can contain personal data of your users. For that data you are the controller and we are the processor within the meaning of the GDPR. This article serves as the data processing agreement.
- Subject and purpose: we process the data only to receive, store and show error reports to you, and only according to your instructions. You give those instructions by using and configuring the service.
- Types of data: whatever your app sends, such as IP addresses, user IDs, e-mail addresses, browser and device data and the content of error reports. You decide what you send and make sure you are allowed to. Do not send special categories of personal data.
- Retention: 90 days, or shorter if you delete the data earlier or close your account.
- Confidentiality: anyone at our company with access to the data is bound to confidentiality.
- Security: connections are encrypted, data is separated per organization and access is limited to those who need it for their work.
- Sub-processors: Google Cloud (hosting and storage, in the Netherlands), Google Firebase Hosting (the website) and Mollie (payments). If we engage a new sub-processor, we let you know in advance; you can then object or cancel.
- Transfers: we store the data in the European Union.
- Data breaches: if we discover a data breach affecting your data, we report it without undue delay, so you can meet your notification obligations.
- Assistance and audits: we reasonably assist you with requests from data subjects and give you the information needed to verify that we comply with this article.
- End: when the agreement ends, we delete the data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. Liability
errors.nl helps you find errors, but is no guarantee that every error is noticed or kept. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue or lost data, nor for damage because error reports were not stored because you were out of credits.
If we are liable nonetheless, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage. These limitations do not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.
9. Cancellation and termination
You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription and asking us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or if payments are not made. If we stop the service, we let you know at least 3 months in advance.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows which version applies. We announce important changes at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
11. Applicable law
These terms and the use of errors.nl are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district where we are located. If we cannot work it out, we first look for a solution together; e-mail us at [email protected].
